Cookie Policy
The website uses first-party storage for access and security and Google Analytics for audience measurement. Preference synchronisation remains optional and requires a separate explicit choice.
Current cookies
thg_session is a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax session cookie that expires when the browser session ends. It supports form security and necessary session state.
age_verified is a secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie stored for approximately 24 hours after age confirmation. It prevents the same access question from being repeated during that period.
__Host-thg_anon is a secure, HttpOnly, host-only, SameSite=Lax cookie used to retrieve an anonymous preference profile. It is created or renewed only after explicit consent to server-side preference storage, contains an opaque random value and is represented in the database only by a keyed hash. Withdrawing consent erases the profile and expires the cookie.
__Host-thg_user is a secure, HttpOnly, host-only, SameSite=Lax login cookie retained for up to 30 days after Google sign-in. It contains an opaque random value; only its keyed hash is stored in the database. Signing out revokes the current record and deleting the account revokes every session.
Local browser storage
tophotgallery:engagement:v1 may contain device-only reaction choices when a visitor chooses not to consent to server storage, as well as legacy favourite entries. Device-only choices do not change public counters and can be removed with the privacy control or by clearing site data.
Analytics and advertising
Google Analytics is active under measurement ID G-5EZMZ4VLRQ. It may set analytics identifiers and process page views, referrers, approximate location, browser and device information, and timestamps to provide audience statistics. Google advertising features are not enabled by this tag.
You can remove or block analytics storage through your browser settings. Google’s privacy information explains its processing as a service provider.
Managing storage
You can remove cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent age confirmation, forms or other essential functions from working correctly.
Consent and withdrawal
Necessary access and security storage does not use a marketing-consent choice. Anonymous likes, dislikes, ratings and tracked shares are stored on the server only after explicit preference-storage consent; the related anonymous profile and cookie are created or renewed only with that consent. Without it, reactions can remain device-only and tracked shares do not change the public counter. Saving favourites requires a Google-signed-in account. The privacy controls allow consent to be withdrawn and the anonymous profile and device-only preferences to be erased.
Any future non-essential cookies will require clear information and equally accessible accept and reject options where applicable.

Aggregate counters that no longer identify your profile cannot be attributed to you or removed from totals.
